Kennetha Brown

From running the work to redesigning it.

I’m a Digital Transformation and AI implementation consultant. Before that, I spent more than a decade in client delivery, close enough to the work to see where organisations get stuck.

How I got here

I’m Ghanaian-British, and I’ve spent my working life moving between markets, languages and teams. I studied French and Linguistics at the University of Manchester, then spent the next decade in agencies.

At Jin Digital Influence I worked on EMEA social listening, sentiment analysis and reporting, and coordinated a team of 8 analysts across markets. At Publicis Groupe I led bilingual digital delivery across 8 West African markets. At Influence Digital I ran day-to-day delivery for RS Group, Sony Music and The King’s Trust, from briefs and delivery plans to spend tracking, reconciliation and reporting.

That work taught me how to turn a client’s goal into a plan, keep competing stakeholders aligned and report clearly on what was working and what wasn’t. It also showed me how often businesses struggled to line up their digital ambitions with the way they actually operated.

In 2025 I went back to Manchester for an MSc in Digital Transformation at Alliance Manchester Business School. The year was applied from the start: a consultancy capstone pitched to Datel’s leadership, a working prototype built after a Google AI Studio workshop, and research spanning UX, data strategy, operations and African fintech.

Now I work as an independent consultant on AI adoption, digital readiness and modernising the systems businesses run on, and deliver alongside partner consultancies when a project needs a bigger team.

How I work

Start with the value

Before any tool, we agree what’s worth improving, what it costs today and how we’ll know it’s better.

Design for the operating reality

A playbook built for another market rarely fits as it is. I design around the infrastructure, skills, budgets and habits that already exist, particularly in African and emerging-market organisations.

Measure what changes

We agree the measures before the work starts, so six months later we can say plainly what’s different and what still needs attention.

Languages

Working across languages has shaped how I work with people, well beyond how I talk to them.
